Boston's Bad Boys of Rock

Inspired by British Rock acts like The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith formed in Boston in 1970. The band developed a Hard Rock sound and delivered an explosive live show — landing a Columbia Records deal in 1972. Their self-titled debut followed in 1973, with "Dream On" becoming a landmark hit. Through addiction, breakups and triumphant comebacks, Aerosmith became one of the best-selling artists of all time.
